Why hair loss is a problem for many people

Many people are confronted…

…with the problem of hair loss on a daily basis. Sometimes it can cause stress that can diminish a person’s quality of life.
The first stage of baldness is usually a receding hairline on the upper sides of the head. With advancing age, the bald areas extend toward the back of the head. Recently, interesting findings have been made in the search for the cause of early balding. They make it clear that male pattern baldness is caused by several factors.

The determining factor is the hereditary element that causes a genetically predetermined growth disorder of hair follicles. Certain male hormones also contribute to the process, but not all areas of the scalp contain follicles that have these negative qualities.

The follicles on the sides and back of the head are, in many cases, not genetically programmed to die out.
